My Therapy Approach
In our virtual sessions, my goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable opening up. Together, we’ll explore what’s fueling your worries, understand the patterns that keep them going, and find ways to help you feel more in control.
I believe therapy is more than just learning strategies - it’s about feeling heard, supported, and understood. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, creating a plan that fits your needs while building confidence. So feel free to grab a cup of tea, or coffee, and let’s take the first step together.

Symptoms of anxiety and chronic worry can include:
Excessive worry about many different areas of life
Difficulty controlling worrying thoughts
Feelings of restlessness, fatigue, muscle tension
Trouble sleeping
Therapy can help by providing a supportive environment to explore underlying issues contributing to anxiety and core fears. Often with anxiety, we underestimate our ability to cope. When we talk about our worst fears, we build our capacity to handle them. In therapy, we will learn coping strategies and skills to manage anxiety effectively and face our fears head-on. We cannot eliminate all of life’s anxieties, but we can change our relationship with anxiety and stop it from holding us back.

Symptoms of anxiety related to health or illness can include:
Excessive and/or unrealistic worry that is difficult to control about health concerns
Frequent checking of the body for signs of illness
Seeking reassurance from healthcare providers
Avoiding situations or activities that might trigger health anxiety
There are different types of health anxiety disorders. The first is Illness Anxiety Disorder (IAD). Formerly known as hypochondriasis, IAD involves persistent fear or belief that one has a serious illness, despite medical reassurance and minimal or no physical symptoms. The second is Somatic Symptom Disorder (SSD): Individuals with SSD may experience physical symptoms that are perceived as indicative of a serious medical condition, despite medical reassurance that there is no condition.
